During the calculation of variances for orders or cost object hierarchies, the following error message is issued:
KV154: 'There is no cost estimate for material &'.
However, there are product cost estimates available that are not used.
Message: KV154
Transaction: KKS1 KKS2 KKS3 KKP5
Programs: SAPMKKS0 SAPMKKP2
The product cost estimate is not released, or is invalid on the day of the goods receipt.
When an order is delivered, the quantity of goods received is valuated with the standard price valid at this time. In the calculation of variances, the cost estimate that calculated this standard price is used. Therefore, the cost estimate
- must be released and
- must be valid at the date of the goods receipt, that is, this date must between the 'Valid from' and 'Valid to' date of the cost estimate.
For existing orders that contain this error, calculation of variances is generally no longer possible. For new orders, you have to make sure that a product cost estimate for this material has been created and released prior to the first delivery. You should select a validity period that is long enough to prevent the cost estimate from becoming invalid again within a short period of time.
