SAP Note 12884 - Calc.cum.values after old ass.data takeover

Symptom:

During old assets data takeover, you forgot to recalculate the
depreciation accumulated by the system for a depreciation area in
Customizing. You should carry this out now.

Cause and prerequisites

Incorrect Customizing.

Solution
1. Switch on the function for the cumulative depreciation
calculation in Customizing during old assets data takeover.
2. With AS92 - Change old data - Carry out the function 'Evaluate
recalculation'. For a larger asset this can be carried out with
batch input for transaction AS92. The OK-code for the
depreciation recalculation is 'ANEU'.
This function is only to be carried out, if no postings were
made to the respective company code. Otherwise the function
'Evaluate recalculation' must be carried out for changing assets.
This function should be carried out only if nothing has yet been posted
in the specfified company code. Otherwise, the function 'Recaculate Values' for 'Change Assets' must be carried out.
