SAP Note 14695 - EM: Character '00483' in table TSP03 for character set

Symptom:

System log contains error message "Character '00483' in table TCP03 for character set 4000". The parameters may be different. System log key F23, module rstsccc, location 79.

Cause and prerequisites

The system attempts to load a character set into the character set buffer, and the char. set contains more characters than were configured in the buffer. The extra characters were ignored.

Solution
Up to and including Release 3.0D:
The profile parameter 'rsts/ccc/max_sapcode' must be enlarged. Either set the value generally to 1300 (works until Release 3) or use transaction SPAD (character sets function, click on the affected character set and "edit" with the function key to check how many characters the affected character set contains. The change takes effect once the system has been restarted.
As of Release 3.0E and 4.0:
The profile parameter no longer exists. After adding SAP characters with transaxtion SPAD, the Cache is automatically reorganized.
If you have imported a code page with transport help programs (e.g., Report RSTXCPAG) and the code page contains more characters than table TCP01, the missing SAP characters must be imported or maintained with transaction SPAD.
