The net change planning indicator (SRTZA) is set to 'A' in table RGDIR for older results. However, 'P' would be correct. This causes incorrect values for evaluations. For example, this result is not cancelled in the interface between Financial Accounting/Controlling but is posted again.
Cause and prerequisitesThis is caused by a program error in the CD manager.
This error only occurs if you carry out a change of legal person in the middle of a period, if you carry out retroactive accounting on this period and it is just a repetition of payroll accounting.
Example:
You made a change of legal person for a personnel number on 4/11/1995. Two results are written in April. Both have the indicator 'A'. In May, you carry out a retroactive accounting for April. During this first accounting run, both of the April results receive an 'A' (in-period May). Both of the old results of April are given 'P'. If you now repeat the May payroll accounting again, the result from 04/01 - 04/10/1995 (in-period April) is given an 'A' by mistake.
Correct the routine SET_RGDIR_TYPE in INCLUDE RPCMGR00. If you use RPCALCU0 (U.S.A.), RPCALCK0 (Canada) or RPCALCJ0 (Japan) for payroll accounting, maintain INCLUDE RPCMGR09. For all other country versions, you only need to edit the RPCMGR00 version.
What must you do to eliminate the effects of the error?
Start report RPUDIRx0 (x=country letter) for the affected personnel numbers and repeat the evaluations for this period.
