SAP Note 24894 - PERFORM_NOT_FOUND in GBAAAAAA: POOL_mmm_xx_yyyy

Symptom:

Program termination: PERFORM_NOT_FOUND in program GBAAAAAA.
Routine POOL_mmm_xx_yyyy of program GBAAAAAA does not exist. (mmm = client, xx = application, yyyy = callup point)

Cause and prerequisites

There are two possible causes:

1. After installing a new client, the error occurred. The source code for the validation or substitution for Release 3.0 has not been completely generated.

2. After an upgrade from one Release 3.0 to another 3.0, for example, from 3.0B to 3.0C, the required source code has not been completely generated either.

Solution

Depending on the causes described above:

1. Execute program RGXGBR15 if the client has been generated using a client copy. In the selection screen, enter '000' as parameter for QUELL_MT.

Otherwise, execute program RGUGBR18 and mark the 2 options 'Generate central program' and 'Use Release 3.0 ABAP programs'. Afterwards, execute program RGUGBR00 and mark all options except 'Gen. substn routns in all clnts', and, as from release 4.6C, 'Gen. trace prog. calls' in addition.

2. Execute program RGXGBR20 (no parameters).

If the name of the missing routine is POOL_mmm_0000 (where mmm = client), implement the attached advance corrections in Include FGBBGE12. The corrections are contained in Hot Package SAPKH40B10.
