SAP Note 22333 - Cust. computer does not appear under SAP Login list

Symptom:

The script under System -> Services -> X.25 service is not successfully executed. However, it can be started successfully manually (from the shell).

Cause and prerequisites

Not enough swap space. One can check this in the file /etc/.osm: "failed to allocate xxx pages of memory - out of swap space"

Solution
Extend the swap space. This can be done temporarily in the file system (using swap -a). It is better, however, to configure a new swap device (in /etc/vfstab).
