SAP Note 18940 - Termination ASSIGN_OFFSET_NOTINFIELD for item display

Symptom:

If you display the line items of a capital investment measure, termination ASSIGN_OFFSET_NOTINFIELD of program SAPMK21A occurs. Transaction: KOB5 or CJ70.

Cause and prerequisites

A display variant is set which contains no fields.

Solution
Please check the settings of the display variants and of the default values in the maintenance transactions KOBA or CJ79.
