SAP Note 18826 - SOP: T009B not fully maintained

Symptom:

When you call up transaction MC81, MC82, MC83, MC87, MC88, MC89, MC76, or MC77 and try to run the forecast, the following error message appears: "T009B not correct for fiscal year variant" (MA015).

Cause and prerequisites

Not enough periods have been maintained for the desired fiscal year variant.

Solution
- Sufficient periods must be maintained prior to your running the forecast. The following periods are recommended
future periods : 5 - 10 years
historical periods : 5 years for historical forecast
- Planning data must fall within the horizon of the fiscal year
variant.
- As long as planning data exists, the period indicator and the fiscal
year variant in the material master must not be changed.
- The user parameters (MC79) in the SOP "settings" menu must not
exceed any limits defined in table T009B.
