SAP Note 16696 - Processing payment proposal / reallocation

Symptom:

1. If an item is to be allocated to a different payment (either explicitly or by deleting the payment block), then payments with more than 99 items are not offered for selection although the payment method allows any number of items.

2. It is also possible to allocate more items than allowed in customizing in the case of a split form ("Further forms for form overflow" is selected in the configuration for payment methods in the company code under form data).

Cause and prerequisites

Program error.

Solution

1. Error corrected in 3.0. The error only occurs in connection with payment methods where the maximum number of items is specified as 99. 99 means that the number of items is unlimited. This special feature was not taken into account for the online processing of the payment proposal list.

2. The error has been corrected as of 3.0D. Payments which are already "full", are not offered again in the case of "Reallocate".

Interim correction is possible for earlier Releases.
