Symptom

Uncertainty regarding the scheduling of background job
COLLECTOR_FOR_ALERTMONITOR from 2.1D onwards.

Cause and prerequisites

Change in the internal workings of the Alert Monitor

Solution
Starting in 2.1D, the background job COLLECTOR_FOR_ALERTMONITOR is no longer required; as such, you should no longer schedule it. However, background job COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCEMONITOR is still required, and should be executed hourly.
