SAP Note 27246 - SAPDBA: Appl. Error with tablespace ext. on WinNT

Symptom:

SAPDBA crash on windows NT ("Application Error") after failed tablespace extension.

Cause and prerequisites

Programming error

Solution
Since the crash only occurs if the tablespace extension fails, you should first find and remove the cause of this error. The user can start SAPDBA again afterwards and repeat the attempted tablespace extension.
