SAP Note 19915 - Missing Customizing master data after upgrade

Symptom:

Client-dependent Customizing master data is only available in client 000 after the upgrade to Release 2.2* or 3.0*.
Examples: MRP group, material classes

Cause and prerequisites

Since 2.2* and 3.0* partially contains new table entries, this data is not automatically written into other clients during the upgrade to avoid overwriting possibly existing customer-defined entries.

Solution
You have to transfer the table entries in question manually.
Two different procedures are possible:

1. Use a correction request to copy the relevant data
* In source client 000, use Table view -> Transport to create a new
correction request (pushbutton "Create").
Select the entries you want to transport and use the "Add to corr."
button to add them to the correction and save.
* In the target client, use CASE -> Tools -> Client copy -> Copy via
command file (TA SCC2) to perform the transport.

2. Use transaction OY19 (Customizing -> Tools -> Table compare)
to compare or replicate the respective tables.

Special case:
The default settings for the process industries module (PPPI) can also be transferred with a function from client 000, as described in the 3.0A release notes:
Help -> Release infos -> Total list -> Release information for release 3.0A -> Master planning and master planning process industries control -> Transfer default settings for PPPI from client 000.
