SAP Note 19782 - Line items: Selection fields/additional fields

Symptom:

In the display form configuration function you include a field for the line item display in the list of the selection fields or in the list of the additional fields.
However, you cannot select according to this field.
Showing this field as an additional field does not display anything although the field is filled in the line item to which it is related.
This problem occurs in the standard display of G/L account line items and fields such as purchasing document (purchase order number EBELN) or asset (ANLN1).

Cause and prerequisites

The above field can be selected in the configuration function because it exists, for example, in vendor index BSIK. However, since it is missing in G/L account index BSIS, you cannot select by this field or the field cannot be displayed as additional field.

Solution
None.
During the selection phase it is not possible to import line items and to select line items after this import.
When you display the list with an additional field, the line items are also not imported.
As of Release 3.0, a corresponding error message is issued in the configuration function if you select a field of this type.
