SAP Note 19611 - Availability check for consignment issue orders involving ba

Symptom:

When you create a consignment issue order using materials managed in batch, the system does not perform a correct availability check on the customer's consignment stock.

Cause and prerequisites

No batch number is specified. As there are no totals records by customer/material but only individual records by customer/material/batch, the availability check can only be performed against the individual records.

Solution
The batch number must be specified in the sales order.
