SAP Note 19139 - SAPcomm: Closed connection to the SAP System

Symptom:

SAPcomm successfully sets up the connection to the SAP System, but before data exchange takes place (upload or download), the connection is broken off without any error messages or entries in the system log. The SAPcomm log file of the component "SAP" contains the entry
E1709 Communication error.

Cause and prerequisites

Error in program RSECPIC0/RSECPIC1

Solution
Correction B20K026436 -> Transport B20K026435
Correction B11K013034 -> Transport B11K013036
Workaround:
The error only occurs when table T164A is empty.
It is therefore sufficient to include any entry in the table, e.g. the field "Postmaster" and fill it with any value.
(Table T164A is maintained with transaction 'scom'-> System parameters)
