Question: How does the authorization check work when creating/changing/ using distribution keys or planning parameters?
Cause and prerequisitesInformation required
SolutionDistribution keys and planning parameters belong to the set of objects that are not protected explicitly by name but via an authorization group. Such objects can also be created by a user without any authorization. The authorization is only checked when assigning it to an authorization group, that is, a user can only allocate such an object to authorization groups for which he is authorized according to the user master record.
Objects without an authorization group can be changed or used by all users. When changing, a user can only allocate authorization groups for which he is authorized.
