SAPSPrint/SAPLPD cannot print any barcodes with device type SAPWIN.
When starting, SAPSprint/SAPLPD reports: "No Barcode DLL found".
SAPSprint/SAPLPD cannot generate barcodes. However, it can access the services of an external DLL, which is already available on the PC as a foreign product.
- 1. Use a printer that can print barcodes and do not call it via SAPWIN but from its 'own' device type (for example 'KYOFS150'). (The Windows device driver used by SAPLPD has no interface for using the printer to print barcodes, even if the printer is able to print barcodes. This option is simply not available in the Windows specification.)
- 2. Purchase a suitable barcode DLL from an external supplier, which corresponds to the interface specification SAPSprint/BARCODE.DLL (see Note 25344). Once this is installed, barcodes can be printed when using the device type SAPWIN. This can be carried out using generated pixel data or font commands from the DLL.
