Customer has problems printing using device types from an earlier release that are no longer supported.
Reason and PrerequisitesOutdated device type definitions, which are no longer supported by SAP and which are incomplete and/or defective, still exist in some customer systems. These device types should no longer be used.
SolutionNote no. 8928 contains a list of all current device types that are supported and maintained by SAP. Customers can download new device types as attachment to this note and import them into the SAP System. The Hotline will provide no support for the outdated device types below; we highly recommend not using them! If a current replacement definition exists for an outdated definition, it is listed below.
