SAP Note 14361 - Tables deleted in FI

Symptom:

FI data is no longer accessible

Cause and prerequisites

Tables (table contents), or customers, suppliers, etc are deleted.

Solution
The account master data is stored in the tables KNA1, KNB1 (customers), LFA1, LFB1 (suppliers) and SKA1, SKB1 (G/L accounts), where the tables LFA1 and KNA1 are also used by SD. All of the tables are transparent. This is obvious from the point of view of reloading. A partial reload (only the above tables) brings with it the danger of inconsistancies if, in the time between the last database backup and the deletion, customers, suppliers or G/L accounts were added/deleted/changed. In particular, this is the case if these accounts were posted to. Example: A new supplier for an invoice is deleted and not reloaded.
The invoice should now be settled automatically via the payment program. The master data is used for this, but it can no longer be read, thus leading to an abnormal termination results.
Conclusion: Only if the above changes have not been made is a partial reload to be recommended. Otherwise, a complete database reload should be carried out if possible.
