SAP Note 14284 - New regulation §4 Subsidy of Development Areas

Symptom:

Change to §4 of the law regarding the subsidy of development areas

In the releases upto and including 3.0E, the calculation key 5060 delivered is incorrect: in the level, upto and including the acquisition year 1996, a validity period of 1 year instead of 5 years is entered.

Cause and prerequisites

Error in the delivery of the calculation key 5060 upto and including
Release 3.0E.

Solution

1. New calculation key 5060:

a) Depreciation type S, class 3, method of depreciation P, base value 40

b) Levels: Acquisition year 1996, validity period 5 years, percent 50

c) Please check the calculation key 5060 for Release 3.0E and prior releases. If the calculation key 5060 in the level till acquisition year 1996 is not arranged as in 1b), then you can correct this level with transaction AX01 in accordance with 1b).

2. Change calculation key 1140 (this can be done only with system transaction AX01 and is equivalent to a correction).

a) Change the indicator for the validity period from '2' to '3'; you will reach the field by calling the "level" function in the detail screen of the key.

3. New depreciation keys SNFB S-AFA §4 FGG immovable material group (new)

a) Normal depreciation 1178

b) Special depreciation 5060

4. New depreciation key SNFG S depreciation §4 FGG movable material group (new)

a) Normal depreciation 1140

b) Special depreciation 5060

This new depreciation key can be used for old as well as for new fixed assets.
