SAP Note 12140 - Cumulative spec. deprec. takeover -> fld suppressed.

Symptom:

The cumulative special depreciation is to be entered manually in AS91 but the field is not displayed.

Cause and prerequisites

The field 'Special depreciation' is only displayed when taking over the cumulative values, if a depreciation key is used in the corresponding area that calculates special depreciation. Furthermore, the field is only ready for input, if in Asset Management Customizing - Valuation - Depreciation area - Takeover old data the option 'Calculate cumulative insurance value' is deselected (if it is selected, the system automatically calculates the cumulative depreciation).

Solution
Check the depreciation key (see cause).
