SAP Note 24746 - AA401 when posting with transaction type Jxx

Symptom:

When posting with transaction type Jxx (xx is the key of the investment support measure is), you get error message AA401 'Forecasted depreciation is not possible'.

Cause and prerequisites

Incorrect Customizing setting

Solution
The depreciation area, for which the investment support measure is provided, does not support unplanned depreciation.
Since this switch can no longer be changed in Customizing, the following repair program must be used.
Create this program as a local object using SE38. Use type '1' and application 'A'.
