SAP Note 22973 - PPPR: "Incorrect" no. of time tickets/conf. slips

Symptom:

The expected number of time tickets (report PPPRLOHN, layout set PPPR_TIME-TICKET) or completion confirmation slips (report PPPRRUEC, layout set PPPR_CONF-TICKET) is not printed.

Cause and prerequisites

• The expectation does not conform to the requirements of the operation in the production order.

• Or in Customizing (TA OPK8, object transactions) entries for the number of copies are made (ADru on the overview, KO on the detail screen).
  Program errors can also occur here; see note 20712.

Solution

The values can be maintained in the work center as default values. It is also specified there whether they are copied to a routing or whether they are only referenced there. The reference indicator can be set later and is then valid for all routings in which the work center is used.
When creating a production order, the current value from the work center or routing is copied; thus, subsequent changes in the work center or routing have no effect on already created production orders.
You will find the current values in:

• the work center (transaction code CR02) under "Default values"

• This value is used in every case in which the reference indicator is set to the time of printing.

• the routing (transaction code CA02) in the operation overview under the menu option "Operation -> General view".

• the production order (transaction code CO02) in the operation overview under the menu option "Operation -> General view".

• Customizing (transaction code OPK8, object transactions) on the overview, the field ADru and on the detail screen, the field KO. When values are captured on the detail screen, these values, and not those on the overview screen, are used.

• This is at worst confusing - if no values are entered on the detail screen, the corresponding fields are filled with zero when displayed. Nevertheless, the entries are moved to the overview screen.

If the control key check is active (transaction code OPK8, Object transactions), no completion confirmation slip and/or time ticket is printed if the control key for the work operation does not provide for this (maintain transaction code OPJ8).
Reports PSFCSPLT and PPPRSPLT do not evaluate field number of time tickets. It is assumed that the number of splits AFVGD-SPANZ or the number of capacity requirements matches the number of required time tickets.
