SAP Note 22319 - External data transfer: Error message KE303

Symptom:

During the transfer of external data, all records are written from the external file to the error file. Warning message KE303 'Valuation is not possible' is given as a reason in the log file.

Cause and prerequisites

During the external data transfer, the assumption is made that a valuation is always wanted.

Solution

If a posting of the external data into the Profitability Analysis is to made without valuation, you have to create a dummy entry in the configuration menu of the Profitability Analysis under the menu option Valuation -> Actual control. You can, for example, enter user exit 'U01' which does not contain program code for the modification of data.
