SAP Note 18605 - Copying text with WW

Symptom:

When attempting to read out using W (in P22) a text which was
transferred to the buffer using WW (in K11), the message:
The file for the clipboard cannot be opened

Cause and prerequisites

In Release 3.0, the W clipboard is incompatibly changed, since the previous implementation only functioned on UNIX platforms.

Solution
If you want to transfer texts between a 3.x system and a 2.y system with the W clipboard, you must enter one of the following function codes directly in the 3.x system:
=AC2W functions like the old WW command
=AC1W function like the old W command
