SAP Note 18008 - Print class for TOP node of cost element hierarchy

Symptom:

The print class for the uppermost node of the cost element hierarchy cannot be maintained.

Cause and prerequisites

The information for the print class of the dependent node is in each case stored in the higher-level SET.

Solution
Before Release 2.2:
You only option is to create a dummy node, to enter the uppermost node of the cost element hierarchy, and to work with this dummy node in the report. Great disadvantage: A separate line is created in the report for the dummy node.
As of Release 2.2:
Create a dummy set of type Multi as uppermost set. Enter the TOP node of the cost center hierarchy in the set line.
Maintain the print class of the TOP node of the cost element hierarchy in the created line under the additional attributes.
Then the above disadvantage does not occur.
