SAP Note 16787 - Schedule payment, termination JOB_CLOSE_FAILED

Symptom:

An attempt to schedule a suggested payment or a payment run fails with a program termination and a message that exception condition JOB_CLOSE_FAILED was triggered in CLOSE_JOB.

Cause and prerequisites

Probably a missing authorization.

Solution
User must have an authorization with authorization object S_BTCH_JOBS and activities RELE,SHOW,PROT,LIST,PLAN.
