SAP Note 16754 - PM order: Operation KZPI not allowed on order

Symptom:

If you try to post a surcharge to the actual costs for a maintenance order, error message KA-168: 'Operation KZPI on order not allowed' is issued.
You cannot repost the costs (operation RKU1). A direct activity allocation is also not possible (operation RKL).

Cause and prerequisites

Business operation KZPI (periodic surcharges actual) and KZPP (periodic surcharges planned) are characterized as not allowed in the status maintenance for the maintenance order.

Solution
Change the indicator which specifies that the operations KZPI and KZPP may be used for object type ORI (PM order --> ORI). Use transaction BS12 to do this.
Position the cursor on category "ORI" and select menu item:
"Goto -> Permitted operations"
Reposting the costs -> Operation RKU1. Proceed as with KZPI.
Activity allocation -> Operation RKL. Proceed as with KZPI.
