SAP Note 13583 - General G/L account master data cannot be deleted

Symptom:

Program : SAPF019
1.) G/L accounts are not deleted from chart of accounts OR
2.) Customers (general) are not deleted OR
3.) Vendors (general) are not deleted

Cause and prerequisites

Re point 1:
a) G/L accounts are created in CO as primary cost elements
(check table CSKA (account no. same as cost element))
AND/OR
b) Company-code dependencies still exist (check table SKB1)

Re point 2:
a) There are still sales and distribution segments in SD
(check table KNVV) AND/OR
b) Company-code dependencies still exist (check table KNB1)

Re point 3:
a) MM purchasing organization still exists for the vendors (check
table LFM1) AND/OR
b) Company-code dependencies still exist (check table LFB1)

Solution
Re point 1:
- First, delete the cost elements in CO (transaction KA04 or report
RKSCUS03)
- Then delete the company-code dependencies (SAPF019, select company
code with general master data)

Re point 2:
- For SD:
If sales and distribution segments exist for customers, these can only be reorganized from 3.0. Until then, the only option is to use report RVKNA100 to delete ALL customer data, regardless of whether the deletion indicator is set. Thus, you should only use this report BEFORE the production start.
- Then delete the company-code dependencies (SAPF019, select company
code with general master data).

Re point 3:
- First, use the MM deletion programs to delete the relevant purchasing
organizations.
- Then delete the company-code dependencies (SAPF019, select company
code with general master data).

Key word: SAPF019 OBR2
