How are pegged requirements displayed?
What is displayed?
The respective current data on stocks, issues and receipts of the materials in question is evaluated in the pegged requirements display. There is no index that the system could use to determine which issue element (sales order, planning, reservation, dependent requirement, ...) is covered by a certain receipt element (purchase order, production order, purchase requisition, planned order, stock level ...). The current stock/requirements list for a material is determined in this case. The system then determines for each receipt element the issue elements that consume this receipt. In this case, the first x units of measure of the receipt on the time axis are consumed by the first x units of measure of the issues. Here, only the sequence and quantities of the receipts as well as the sequence and quantities of the issues are important. For the calculation it is unimportant whether the issue was made before or after the receipt or whether the issue and receipt quantities match each other.
This should be explained in an example:
The following stock/requirements situation applies to a material after the materials planning:
Date Receipt Issue 1 100 100
2 100 100
3 100 100
The pegged requirements of each receipt element are the receipts at the same date. The receipt element of day 1 is now changed. The new stock/requirements situation is as follows:
Date Receipt Issue 1 101 100
2 100 100
3 100 100
Receipt 1 is now pegged by 100 units of measure of issue 1 and one unit of measure of issue 2. Receipt 2 is pegged by the remaining 99 units of measure of issue 2. However, receipt 2 is larger than 99 so that a part of issue 3 can also be covered. Receipt 2 is therefore also pegged by a unit of measure of issue 3. Receipt 3 is pegged by the remaining 99 units of measure of issue 3. One unit of measure from receipt 3 remains. This quantity is displayed separately as receipt without pegged requirements.
There is a unique dependency to the pegging production order or to the pegging planned order if the issue element is a reservation or a dependent requirement. The plant and the higher-level material is derived from this order and the analysis described above is repeated for this material.
