SAP Note 11645 - EM GA086/GR003 for CCenter grp/cost elem. grp.

Symptom

When maintaining the segments for the sender, a cost center group or cost element group defined in cost center accounting is specified. Error messages GA086 or GR003 appear:
The specified group xxxxxx has not been created
An appropriate object was not found

The groups maintained in cost center accounting are affiliated with structure CCSS. However, structure CE7xxxx (xxxx - operating concern) is used for the transfer of cost center costs to CO-PA.

Solution

The groups must be copied from structure CCSS to structure CE7xxxx. Execute report RGSCPY00 to do this. The following parameters must be entered, depending on the release:

1. Release 2.2:
Parameter: From table CCSS
From field KOSTL (for cost center group)
KSTAR (for cost element group)
From set group name
To table CE7xxxx
To field KOSTL (for cost center group)
KSTAR (for cost element group)
Only single set
Overwrite X
Database update X

Prefix 'OH' to the group name from cost center accounting.

Prefix '0H' to the group name from cost center accounting.
If no prefix is specified, the prefix 'OH' is retained. Groups with the prefix 'OH' cannot be changed in CO-PA.
