SAP Note 11103 - No authorization for creating fixed assets .

Summary

Symptom

With an asset view not equal to '1', a fixed asset cannot be created
although the user has the further authorizations.

Cause and prerequisites

The asset master data program assumes that the asset view '1' is the
view of the Asset Accounting and not all information can be
maintained with the other views. A fixed asset could only be created
incompletely this way.
However, this is currently not supported.

Solution
There is a development request for Release 3.0 to remove this
restriction. However, this requires a postprocessing of fixed assets
created incompletely.
