SAP Note 28276 - Planned order: Basic dates are not adjusted

Symptom:

Basic dates of planned orders are not adjusted after scheduling although this was set in Customizing.

Cause and prerequisites

The texts of the Customizing settings for the schedule adjustment are incorrect.
Program error

Solution

Set the correct values in Customizing although the texts are wrong:

-> Customizing -> Production
-> Capacity planning
-> Activities
-> Scheduling
-> Define scheduling levels

Adjust scheduling:
Adjust dates
space via detailed scheduling
1 via rate-based scheduling
In lead time scheduling
space Adjust planned start, adjust dep.reqmts to operation dates
1 Adjust planned start, adjust dep.reqmts to planned start
2 No adjustment
When scheduling capacity
space Always planned dates, dep. reqmts to operation dates
1 Always planned dates, dep. reqmts to planned start
2 Planned dates only if delay, dep. reqmts to operation dates
3 Planned dates only if delay, dep. reqmts to planned start

Program correction.
