SAP Note 27352 - KEU5: Special periods are posted to period 12

Symptom:

Cost center costs from special periods are posted to period 12 in Profitability Analysis.

Cause and prerequisites

Program error

Solution
For an allocation on the basis of fized documents, percentage rates or components, the problem is corrected in Releases 2.2G and 3.0B. An allocation according to variable components is not supported for special periods.
In earlier releases, insert the following corrections (1) and (3).
To cancel the cycles which have been assessed in period 12, you need to modify Include RKEVRK1U (2). Then you need to activate this modification. To do so, execute program RKEAGENA for your operating concern. The system will ask you which function modules should be executed. Execute function module RKE_GENERATE_ASSESSMENT.
The incorrect cancellations also need to be reversed. To do this, insert the correction in note 35564 and the program under (4). This program generates a list of cycles which are to be cancelled.
Execute the program, and then cancel the displayed cycles. Repeat this until you receive the message:
"All bad cycles are reversed in special periods".
After successful cancellation, you need to reverse the modification and then activate the program again.
In Release 2.1, you also need to execute Transaction KEUG after you have run program RKEAGENA.
