SAP Note 27306 - No requmt. quantity calc. from cutting measures

Symptom:

In the MRP, the variable-size item data maintained in the bill of material and not the cutting measures maintained in the routing are used as the basis for calculating the requirement quantity.

Cause and prerequisites

The cutting measures maintained in the routing are used as information for production and are not applicable to MRP.

Solution
Maintain the data applicable to MRP in the bill of material.
