SAP Note 27228 - Cust.mast.rec.: Paymt. notice as req-entry field

Symptom:

If you set the 'Payment notice' as required-entry field in Customizing, you always receive an error message on the 'Correspondence' screen.
If you select all fields for payment notices, you receive the message 'Only mark one of the two options' (F2120).
If you, on the other hand, do not mark all fields, you receive the message 'Required entry not made' (00055).

Cause and prerequisites

Program error.

Solution
Error corrected for 2.1M, 2.2H, 3.0B. Advance correction is possible.
In the improved version, only one of the two fields 'Cust. (w. AI)' or 'Cust.(w/o AI)' must be selected if 'Payment notice' is set to required entry.
