SAP Note 26412 - OMI3: Ext. number ranges for planned order/PReq

Symptom:

Configuration menu for materials planning, number ranges for manual processing (transaction OMI3): For planned orders and purchase requisitions, you have to specify external number ranges.

Cause and prerequisites

Usually you are working with the internal number assignment. Therefore, it is not useful to force the specification of external number ranges.

Solution
As of Release 2.2G and 3.0, the specification of external number ranges is no longer required. You can make the following advance correction.
