SAP Note 24169 - ORA 1157

Symptom:

When starting the database, ORA 1157 appears

Cause and prerequisites

A datafile cannot be opened or found.

Solution
Following ORA 1157, an operating system error message appears. This is the reason why ORACLE cannot open the file.
