For parts procured with contracts or scheduling agreements, different availability dates are displayed in the MRP list (MD05) and the current stock/requirements list (MD04).

In addition to the data in the material master, alternative planned delivery times can be maintained for individual vendors in the info record, and alternative planned delivery times and GR processing times can be maintained for contracts (contracts/scheduling agreements).
In the Customizing of materials planning, you can set for the plant parameters (external procurement -> Specification of planned delivery time) and for the MRP group, whether the data from the material master or from the info record/contract is to be used for materials planning. The first is more efficient.
In the MRP list (MD05), the GR processing time from the material master or from the contract (depending on the settings) is used for calculating the availability date for contracts; the current stock/requirements list (MD04), on the other hand, always uses the more precise GR processing time from the contract.
Set the specification of the planned delivery time according to your requirements in the Customizing of materials planning. If the switch is set, the availability dates in MD04 and MD05 are identical.
As of Release 3.0, you also have the option to display the input dates without the GR processing time in transactions MD04 and MD05 instead of the availability dates. The dates in MD04 and MD05 are then always identical.
