SAP Note 21550 - IS-H: 'No external number assignment ISH_NGPA N RP'

Symptom:

When entering a business partner with external number assignment, the error message "No external number assignment: ISH_NGPA N RP" appears, message N0 816.

Cause and prerequisites

Two possible causes:

• Missing assignment of a number range to the object key RP.

• The specified external number is in the number range reserved for RP/HR.

Solution
Via Customizing (Configuration -> Hospital -> Patient accounting -> Basic data -> Business partners -> Business partners -> Number ranges), please check whether an external number range is available for the object key "RP", and if necessary whether the specified number is in this number range.
If the number you specified is in the number range mentioned above, choose another number or check the assignment of the number range intervals.
