SAP Note 21289 - Syntax error in program SAPLGUMD

Symptom:

Syntax error in program SAPLGUMD
Activity type planning in cost center accounting is terminated with the message: Syntax error in program SAPLGUMD.
Source code: LGUMDF99, line: 221 "INTO" is not declared under "Tables".
Transaction: KP22 Program: SAPMGPLN
This problem can occur with every planning or allocation (assessment/distribution)

Cause and prerequisites

The program for the master data validation contains syntax errors because of incorrect Customizing settings:
Customizing for Extended General Ledger: Environment -> Table directory
Tables with the name T830x (for example T830A) are listed under table type CM. For these tables, there must be an entry T831x (for example T831A) with table type CT. Either this entry is missing or it has table type CM.
If there are other tables of type CM, the field 'Corr. tab.' must contain an entry for this table which refers to a table value with type CT.

Solution
Specify the entries correctly in Customizing and then start program RGUMD000. This program regenerates the program code.
