SAP Note 21081 - Transfer postings in Inventory Controlling

Symptom:

Transfer postings in Inventory Controlling, for example, movement type 321 'Transfer posting quality inspection to unrestricted', result in statistical data updates. This is not wanted in some cases. Example: Material X with 10 pcs unrestricted, 10 pcs stock in quality inspection (with two receipts at 10 DEM per piece)

After the transfer posting with movement type, the following applies:

Cause and prerequisites

Settings in T156 which is delivered this way in the standard system.

Solution
Transaction SM31 for table T156. For all movement types for which you do not want an update, set the indicator StR (statistics relevancy) to SPACE.

Please consider carefully before you change the indicator whether you really want this.
