The address format in the directories seems to be incorrect. For some addresses, neither the ISO country code nor the country name is printed.
Missing country code of the sender country when requesting the program.
SolutionThe country addresses are formatted via a central function module which has to be passed on to the sender country and recipient country. Depending on postal rules, the country code is written in front of the postal code (for "Address layout key" = "001" - European standard, "011" - Switzerland and "014" - Austria), or the country name is printed in text (for all other keys, such as Italy, up to 3.0C; the "Address layout key" is maintained within the country's global parameters in customizing). The country name is printed in the language of the sender country.
When you call up the directories, the customer or vendor country is set as the recipient country. Automatic determination of the sender country is not possible. For this reason, you can explicitly specify this after the line number specification for the address formatting. If you do not enter a country there, the language of the sender country cannot be determined and the country name is not printed (or the logon language is used as of 3.0C).
As of 3.0D, you can set a new field in the country table ("Print country name") for the sender country so that the country name is generally printed for foreign addresses instead of the code in front of the postal code (for example, for the sender country USA).
