SAP Note 162147 - NACOS451: Notifiable PO texts customizeable

Symptom:

This note is only valid for R/3 Add-on Relase NACOS.
It should not be used for standard customers.

During background invoice verification, notifiable PO texts should be displayed and processed in the error log as it was set in Customizing. During online check, a warning should be issued as usual.

Cause and prerequisites

The problem is caused by a program error. This error does not allow Customizing of notifiable PO text types for the background check.

Note,
that also after implementing the correction, this functios is only available for the invoice verification types 1 and 2 (background).

that in Customizing of the 'Attributes of system messages' the message M8538 must be defined as an error both for dialog and for background. A dialog check is nevertheless possible. Solution

Step 1: Customizing
Path: Materials Management -> Invoice verification ->
Incoming invoice -> Edit PO supplement texts in
Invoice Verification
The entry depends on the company code and the
notifiable PO supplement text type

Step 2: Entry in table T100s
Create an entry for application are 'M8' and message
number '538'.

Step 3: Entry in table T100c
For application area 'M8' and message number '538',
create the message type for dialog and background

Step 4: Implement the source code changes (see attachment).
