No planning data are displayed on the results analysis log for the results analysis of an individual project or order. What do this data mean?
Cause and prerequisitesSolution
The planning data that are displayed in the results analysis log are planning data from valuation.
The planning data from valuation are displayed on the results analysis log only for the open period. In the closed periods, they are suppressed because they do not necessarily correspond to the results analysis data of the displayed period; the planned values could have been changed, for example.
The planned values displayed for valuation depend on the entries in the
customizing of valuation methods in results analysis. In expert mode,
these are the following parameters:
(valuation) profit basis
(valuation) quantity base
(valuation) plan version
(valuation) profit percentage
(valuation) valuation basis
(valuation) results reserve
(planned values) overall plan
(planned values) excession
(valuation) updates costs
(valuation) customer order structure
(valuation) project structure
The profit basis, quantity base, plan version and overall plan parameters determine the origin of the planned values to be read. The valuation basis and excession parameters control various methods of planning and actual data comparisons so that the planning data can be replaced by the actual data, if required. Depending on the object status, these parameters can be set differently.
The valuation basis and excession parameters allow many different methods to influence the planned values via the actual values. The results reserve parameter allows to flatly reduce the planned result.
In the log, the final result of these methods is displayed under the planning data of valuation since the calculation of calculated costs and calculated profits is carried out using these values. As a rule, you can see from the long log how the planned values from valuation were determined.
