SAP Note 15712 - Order creation: ME062 Material is with account assignment

Symptom:

When creating an order, the error message:
'ME062 Material is with mandatory account assignment' is displayed.

Cause and prerequisites

Customizing error when updating the quantity.

Solution
Maintain transaction OMS2 (Customizing -> Logistics -> Materials Management -> Material -> Control data -> Material type -> Change -> enter a material type, for example, HALB -> ENTER -> Quantity/Value -> Different val. areas.
The field 'Quantity updating' must be active.
