SAP Note 14912 - MB1B FM: M7152 No goods issue possible

Symptom:

When user attempted to post a goods issue for a stock transport order with movement type 351 (unrestricted-use stock to stock in transit, transfer posting), the system issued the error message M7152: "For item & of purch. order &, no goods issue can be posted"

Cause and prerequisites

Wrong customizing setting.

Solution
Use transaction OMGN, then choose "Purchasing document type". On next screen select the appropriate supplying plant and choose 'Details'. If the field 'Delivery type' is filled, the GI must be posted via an appropriate delivery. If this is not desired, set field 'Delivery type' to blank.

In Release 3.*, the point 'Assign delivery type/checking rule' must be chosen instead of the 'Purchasing document type'.
