Description: elements (= controlling areas) are missing for order settlement in number range maintenance, and therefore cannot be assigned. The Overview function for number range maintenance displays elements (= controlling areas) that do not (or no longer) exist.
The elements are generated when the controlling area is saved if it has been completely defined. When a controlling area is deleted, the number range data is not reset. When controlling areas are transported, the assignment to number ranges cannot be included due to technical reasons.
SolutionFirst start report RSSNR0T1 for object "CO_ABRECHN". If the system determines inconsistencies for the object regarding number ranges and number range groups, these are listed. Press "Save" to eliminate the inconsistencies from the list. (WARNING: use the Save function only if you are sure that there is no order settlement is in process. Otherwise update terminations may occur!)
You then have two options to restore consistency between the number ranges and the controlling areas:
1. Use transaction SM31 to maintain table TKB08:
- Enter the missing elements (controlling areas) in "Controlling area" field (leave the other two fields the way they are).
- Delete unnecessary entries (elements, thus controlling areas, that no longer exist)
- 1. Execute the correction program RKCORR07 (automatic execution of the first option).
