SAP Note 12747 - Problems for fields with more than 24 characters

Symptom:

A report uses fields with more than 24 characters. The selected records are not processed correctly with respect to these fields

Cause and prerequisites

Sets only support fields with a maximum of 24 characters. For this reason, the Report Writer can also take only up to 24 characters per field into account. If sets are nevertheless created for longer fields, only the first 24 characters will be addressed.
