SAP Note 12711 - No field selection during goods receipt

Symptom:

Field selection per movement type (for example, 101) is not supported for goods receipts for purchase orders and goods receipts for production orders.

Cause and prerequisites

Field selection is taken from the purchase order/production order item.
Field selection from the initial screen of the transaction is only planned as of Release 4.0.

Solution
Maintain the field selection suitable for the account assignment category of the purchase order/production order.

As of Release 4.0 a general field selection for fields on the initial screens of Transactions MB01, MB0A, MB31 (for example, delivery note) is planned. This field selection does not refer to the item fields (like item text MSEG-SGTXT, for example). For that reason, it is not movement types-dependent and still does not provide a field selection of the account assignment fields.
